My Black Friday / Cyber Monday Pattern and Fabric Haul

I admit it! I love the clip-the-coupons-race-to-the-mall-all-nighter Black Friday shopping thing! And I have been very successful in the past with scoring some major deals! Not to mention the wonderful guilty pleasure of shopping all night. I have a red copycat Le Creuset dutch oven that I still admire lovingly each time I cook in it remembering the sweet bargain I got on the thing! (Even though managing to wrangle the 10 lb pot in line at 2 am for 30 minutes was not fun!) This year however, I stuck to the computer!  I purchased four new patterns at a steal and grabbed some great fabric on the cheap for my stash! No lines, no grabbing, or hauling a big pot! Talk about blissful!

I am so excited about my Haul and I just had to share today!

First up: my new patterns! All of the patterns are PDF’s that I purchased on sale!

Now for my fabric! Droooooll…

From Girl Charlee:

I am going to use the Rose Floral fabric to make the Sew Simple Leggings and the Black cotton to make the Hey June Raglan. This will make such an easy comfortable go-to outfit, perfect for our southern “winter”!  For the Red Lips, I have a Sewaholic Renfrew planned. I’m throwing the idea around in my head to make it with a longer high low hem to wear with leggings, too! We’ll see. The Buffalo plaid has been destined for another Gardenia dress! I wanted to make this to enter into the Girl Charlee plaid sewing contest but didn’t order my fabric in time. Oh well!

Isn’t this fabric… well magnificent?! I love some pink! With the Micheal Miller polka dots and chevron, I’m going to sew up one sweet Picnic Skirt by Sew Caroline! I’ve been star struck since the “Glitz” collection was introduced back in the summer and was just thrilled to get my very own yardage on CyberMonday!  SCORE!  The skirt will be perfect for summer! I plan on full dots for the skirt and then a border at the bottom with the chevron. I’m not sure what the fuchsia ponte will become yet. Maybe another Gardenia or an Out and About Dress? The Pink Sweatshirt Fleece is earmarked for another Lane Raglan with a twist! I’m going to change the neck to off the shoulder and make it a little longer. This is my inspiration:

Wow that was fun! I will be glued to my BFF (my Janome sewing machine) for the next few weeks sewing all these outfits I have dreamed up! I can’t wait to share them with you! Stay tuned!

Until next time…Regan
